Norwood Makes a Difference with MidlandHR

Leading UK charity signs seven year iTrent contract

Norwood has signed a seven year contract to implement MidlandHR’s truly web-based, complete HR, payroll and rostering system, iTrent. Supporting Jewish children, families and adults with learning disabilities or from disadvantaged backgrounds, the leading UK charity has chosen iTrent, to manage the HR and Payroll of up to 1500 employees and 700 volunteers.

Norwood will focus on maximising employee engagement by instigating self-service, absence management, people development and rostering. New to iTrent, rostering will enable managers and senior employees effectively schedule the activities of the workforce. The charity will now be able to define the number of staff required for a particular activity, adjust the workload of staff depending on their availability and use flexible staffing to cover peak periods

Lawrence Knowles, managing director of MidlandHR comments: “iTrent will enable Norwood to quickly maximise operating efficiencies, allowing them to redirect funds to where they are needed most. For such a large organisation, with both permanent and voluntary staff, our new rostering module will suit them perfectly, helping them tackle potentially difficult issues such as skills allocation.”
