MidlandHR Launches First Truly Web-Based, Integrated HR and Payroll Solution: iTrent

14-07-2008

MidlandHR, a leading supplier of HR management software, today announces the launch of its iTrent solution. The first truly web-based, integrated HR and payroll system to enter the market in the UK, iTrent has been designed to bring data alive, delivering powerful graphical analysis of information, giving organisations the tools to tackle HR issues such as talent management, succession planning, recruitment and absence management. Customers including the Law Offices Departments, the University of Exeter and Epsom and Ewell Council are already realising the benefits that come from using iTrent. .

Lawrence Knowles, managing director of MidlandHR comments: “At MidlandHR we are constantly striving to deliver improved services to our customers – working in partnership with them to optimise their businesses through people management. As such, iTrent continues our commitment to help organisations align their workforce with their business goals and capitalise on their most vital asset – their people.

“iTrent has been designed to serve companies from zero footprint, desk-top independent, browser-based web pages, and as such, embraces all advantages of the web, presenting vital information in highly graphical, easy to use views. Where this solution really comes in to its own, is in helping organisations to understand which people strategies create value and which don’t – where to cut costs, where to reallocate spending and where to invest more for greater return through improved performance,” concludes Knowles.

Irene Clarke, HR director at Epsom and Ewell Council comments: “The web-enabled version of Trent has been incredibly easy for managers to get to grips with as it is so intuitive. All screens can be accessed from one point so it is fast as well as easy to use. It provides a superior flow of service, seamless working and greater efficiencies.

“iTrent is already enabling more efficient working practices within HR and payroll through a reduction in administration time spent on double and triple data entry. We are working more seamlessly and have great confidence in future efficiency savings as a result of working with iTrent,” concludes Clarke.

Mark Summerfield, at the Crown Prosecution Service comments: “Working with MidlandHR, we have been able to deliver a joint working and shared contract arrangement between the four law departments, resulting in a cost effective, integrated HR solution. Applications such as the reporting functions and self-service in particular will provide tighter control and clarity over absence, holiday and personal details – reducing the scope for error.

“Each department has gone live with a full personnel database, expanded with different functionality to meet their individual business requirements. The flexibility and ease of use of the web-based iTrent system has really helped this project become a success.”
