The new addition to the online Business Builder service, which offers small business services including bookkeeping, sales and marketing, legal support and health and safety advice, is designed to make payroll fast, safe and efficient for small businesses. By visiting www.beprofessional.com, users can now access the new payroll module powered by MidlandHR which calculates the wages and salaries of employees, works out tax and National Insurance contributions, produces payslips and returns a detailed agenda of payments so records can be kept updated; putting small businesses in direct control and reducing costs by eliminating the need to pass payroll onto accountants or other payroll specialists.
MidlandHR’s free to access payroll module within Business Builder is easy to use, even for non-payroll professionals. By simply logging into the service with a secured password companies have payroll data at their fingertips. The service is also automatically updated to reflect the latest changes in tax rates and legislation from HM Revenue and Customs so users are always up-to-date with new employment regulations.
Lawrence Knowles, managing director of MidlandHR, comments: "The MidlandHR module is a low maintenance, simple solution designed for small businesses. The service reduces the cost of payroll staff, expensive payroll software and maintenance, as well as third party payroll costs.
"It has been designed for ease of use by anyone, from first-time users to payroll experts. The user interface is clear and simple and ensures people can easily navigate their way around the site. As there is no software to install users only need an Internet connection and web browser to get going. The rest is taken care of by Business Builder."
