Royal Society for the Prevention of Accidents integrates HR and payroll with iTrent
The Royal Society for the Prevention of Accidents (RoSPA) has signed a five year contract for a single, cost effective, integrated HR and payroll system using the web-based iTrent solution from MidlandHR.
Due to go live in January 2009, iTrent will replace RoSPA’s existing paper-based systems, greatly streamlining processes, reducing duplication and time spent on inputting data. This in turn will enable the HR department to concentrate on more strategic issues
Commenting on the new system, Sarah Baker human resources manager at RoSPA says: “We were very impressed by the superior functionality that iTrent offers and could see the obvious benefits of an integrated package in terms of reducing paper processes and the manual passing of details between departments.”
Once the initial launch of the new system is complete, the charity then plans to roll out iTrent’s self-service module, allowing employees to update details including training requests and records, expenses claims and holidays for authorisation by line managers using the solution’s workflow system
“We’re delighted to be playing an important role in this important initiative for RoSPA, by helping to facilitate this project, and look forward to opening up additional functionality within our web-based iTrent software solution,” concludes Lawrence Knowles, managing director at MidlandHR.
