iTrent powers Ofgem's HR and payroll

MidlandHR selected to provide payroll bureau services alongside state of the art hosted iTrent solution
Ofgem has renewed its contract with MidlandHR for a further four years, upgrading to a hosted, fully integrated iTrent solution encompassing a wide range of functionality to support their needs from HR and payroll to workforce planning, human capital and talent management. In addition to adopting a hosted service, Ofgem also renewed its partnership with MidlandHR for the provision of a Gross to Net payroll bureau service, processing the payroll of Ofgem's 500 employees, which they have enjoyed for the past five years.
Ofgem's head of payroll and pensions, Julie Young, explains: "This renewed partnership demonstrates MidlandHR's absolute dedication to the provision of payroll to our employees and will no doubt continue in a manner that will ensure future compliance, as the legislation which governs payroll changes and grows in complexity. Our partnership is one of trust as we view MidlandHR as an extension of our team. We simply provide the payroll data and they take it from there, covering everything from the structuring of pay and deduction calculations, though to payslip printing and distribution.
"By utilising MidlandHR's Gross to Net payroll bureau service alongside the hosted iTrent application, we have been able to minimise the risks, infrastructure and costs that would have been incurred if we were to host our own solution and conduct our payroll process in-house."
